The contract between Brookside Friesians LLC and mare owner for the 2026 Breeding Season. It is known by the mare owner that Brookside Friesians LLC is NOT a veterinarian and the mare owner releases ALL liability for breeding the mare named above.
Mare Breeding Package $1000*
*if mare is confirmed pregnant and loses pregnancy Mare Rebreed Package $650 (does not include daily board)
Package includes the following:
- 3 days of full board; after 3 days, board is $30/day
- Unlimited artificial or live cover* insemination until confirmation of pregnancy
- Unlimited fresh semen collections, if stallion is collected by Brookside Friesians Stallion Station
- Prostiglandin – If needed
- Oxytocin – if needed
- Mare Exams
- Teasing to stallion
- Contacting stallion owner/station to coordinate shipping of fresh or frozen semen or live cover for Thoroughbred breedings, if the stallion used is not from Brookside Stallion Station
Mare Breeding Contract does NOT include the following and you are responsible for all additional charges listed below.
- Collection fee and shipping charges for stallion named above if stallion is NOT collected by Brookside Stallion Station
- Hormones other than the ones listed above
- Outside veterinary services for any reason and Brookside Friesians LLC reserves the right to consult a veterinarian if needed with prior notification of mare owner
- Board at $30 per day after initial 3 days of included board
- Any other outside services or supplies not listed above
- Travel fees
- Storage of Frozen Semen
Fees: $1000 per breeding package* (*$650 per rebred package if pregnancy is lost after confirmation) All credit cards, Venmo and checks are accepted.
Terms and Conditions:
- A fully completed Mare Breeding Contract is required for each mare.
- Payment is required at time of contract
- If credit card is declined for any reason on the day it is agreed to be charged without prior notice, purchaser will be charged a $30.00 fee plus an interest rate of 1.5% monthly until the account becomes current.
- If mare does not get pregnant during contracted breeding season, a rebreed package is offered at current pricing of Rebreed Package. Board is not included.
- This Mare Breeding Contract must be in writing, and the parties agree that a fax copy, electronically signed or printable email version of the contract shall qualify as a ”writing”. This agreement is executed in and governed by the State of Massachusetts, USA. The parties each consent to jurisdiction in the State of Massachusetts and venue in any Federal or State court in Hampden County, Massachusetts, for any lawsuit arising out of this Agreement, and they waive any and all rights to contest such jurisdiction and venue, and any objection that such county is not convenient.
